Mongolia is located in the North East of Asia


Mongolia is located in the North East of Asia . It is bordered with Russia by 2700 km in the north and with the People ` s Republic of Chinise by 4300 km in the South . It is considered is one of the longest land borderlined counties in the world .
        Mongolia has a territory of 1.565.000sg km – 17th largest country in the world . Which means that it is three times bigger than France , and four times bigger than Germany . the population is 2.5 million . Mongolia is a leader in terms of camels and horses per capita in the world .

        The average altitude is 1500 meter above the sea level . In that context , it is a country that is lacated in the highest area of the world . (The highest point is Altai Tavan Bogd , 4374meter above the sea level , and the lowest point is Lake Khokh , which is 556 meter above the sea level .)

     

The national emblem was renewed in 1991 by the new constitution . The national emblem expresses the traditional symbolism of the development and property of mongolia .
The National Flag . The national flag has the color of blue symbolizing the blue sky , and red color for the courage and spirit . The letter of Soyombo is placed on the flag representing the country`s independence and freedom .

The Government House / State Palace / . The President of the State , chairman of the State Great Hural and the Prime Minister` s offices are located in the State palace .
